Nahla can be the picture of innocence, if she so chooses. But does she often? No, no t particularly. Nahla has to appear strong and in control, for she is the Head of the Mermaids. But when the Lost Boys come around, often her face softens from its usual, stern gaze. From the tip of her tail to the top of her head, she is approximately 5'6. She has appropriate curves, which she has been known to lure her prey with, but don't be fooled. Beneath her milky pale skin are years of muscle and deadly ability. Her weight is about 127 pounds. Nahla's hair is a beautiful red hue and her eyes are green like sea glass.
•Ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ •
➨﹙Hot-Tempered﹚ Nahla has a temper as fiery as her hair. If you get on her bad side, watch out. Because she is Head Mermaid, she holds a great deal of power and won't hesitate to use it as vengeance. Unfortunately for many, Nahla angers rather easily. To qualm her angers, she often needs someone to grasp her by the arms, look her dead in the eye, and explain the misunderstanding. Perhaps she will become calm. If not, I do suggest getting much farther than an arms length away from the mermaid.
➨﹙Protective﹚ Nahla is very protective of her troupe of mermaids. She often feels a rather motherly instinct towards them--unless they approach a boy she has her eye on, Pan particularly. But if anyone dare look at them the wrong way, much less lay a finger on them, watch out.
➨﹙Flirtatious﹚ As many mermaids are, Nahla is flirtatious. But one could describe her actions as...above par. She goes out of her way to be coy, cute, and drop in sexual-innuendos when deemed appropriate. She is also very territorial about who she flirts with, and becomes very irrational if anyone attempts to win the attention of someone which she has 'claimed.'
➨﹙Witty﹚ Nahla loves witty and clever jokes which makes her think. She is rather clever, if you get past the flirtatiousness and the anger of the red-headed sea creature. Riddles are one of her favourite activites, and she loves entertaining others with them, and with clever little jokes.
➨﹙Calculating﹚Being a leader, Nahla often has to look at things analytically. It is no wonder she has become as calculating as she is. Unless provoked or angered, or it is something affecting her personally, she often takes a step back and analyzes the situation before making a move. Often, member of her troupe come to her for advice because of this personality trait she possess.
➨﹙Cynical﹚ Nahla distrusts humanity as a whole. While she generally has faith in her mermaids, in any other species, this same trust is rather lacking. She finds it very difficult to believe in the sincerity and integrity of human being particularly. Having lived as long as she has, she has seen many come and go. They all seem to lie, in some way or another. Her distrust of them as a species has grown greatly over time.
➨﹙Hopeful﹚ Nahla does her best to remain optimistic, and when that doesn't work, to at least remain hopeful. Often times, this is difficult, especially when she has lived so long and seen so many horrible things. Yet, she retains this hope that in the end things are going to be okay. Many say she is foolish for this behavior, but she quickly silences them. Afterall, who dares call a leader foolish?
➨﹙Standoffish﹚ Upon first meeting her, Nahla can often appear standoffish. Perhaps it is because she is studying you, calculating you, or perhaps admiring your physique. It's also quite possible she's lost in a daydream. Or, the most likely, she just doesn't care enough about you to warrant her attention.• Ｈｉｓｔｏｒｙ •

Nahla grew up being groomed for the role she now holds today. Her aunt was once the leader of the Mermaids of Neverland, and Nahla was her eldest living descendant. Her childhood was rather controlled. When she often wanted to spend time playing, diving, and exploring, she was instead taught to study, analyze, and strategy. She was taught to go after what she wanted, and to defend what was hers. She was raised sheltered and cold, raised to be a leader.
That is, until she met Peter Pan.
Nahla met Peter right after her aunt died. He came to meet her because she was the new leader, or at least that is what he told her. Surprisingly, she enjoyed his company. And the flirting. Good Lord, she loved the flirting. It was such an adrenaline rush. Being as innocent as she was, untouched by the harshness of emotions and relations with boys and men, she was never too sure whether it was a simple flirtationship between them, or something bigger. Often times, she still questions this. Pan was the one who coined the name Nixie for her, which quickly stuck and is often how the lost boys refer to her. Because he gave her such a nickname, she decided to only refer to him as Pan, rather than Peter.
Nahla is still currently the leader of the Mermaids. Sometimes, her elders question her position. But she has been bred for such a role, and she fits it well. She cares for the members of her school more than the world itself, and would do anything for their wellbeing.

Marina came into this world alone. All she has about her past is a seashell necklace that has her name engraved on it. SHe doesn't know her last name. Marina always knew she was different. She never quite fit in and never cared about her appearence. WHen she was 8 she met a lost boy and decided she wanted to walk on land. Using her amazing mind she began turning her seashell necklace into something that would give her the ability to walk on land as long as she wore the necklace.
