HEY THERE! I'm Aubree - AKA Dumpster Queen - and I'm, well, one of the people who made this group. So some of you might know me, some of you might not. It's all cool! You're basically all my friends anyway.

In my designs I tend to favor simple, modern-looking formats. Some may verge on retro (as in the banner above), but in general, I prefer to stay with fonts and designs that are clear and easy to read. I do have a penchant for bright colors - especially hot pinks, turquoises, oranges, and lime greens - but I'm willing to use other colors upon request.

Because I'm a weirdo, I'm always on one of five different devices on Goodreads. They are as follows (in order of how frequently I'm able to be on them):
iPad with retina ( iOS8 )
PC laptop ( windows 7 )
iMac desktop computer ( OS X )
iPod touch ( iOS6 )
iPhone 4 ( iOS7 )

So as you might be able to guess, what I can do depends on what device I'm on. This will, of course, effect how fast I can make things for you.

D U M P S T E R D E S I G N S

SIMPLE PHOTOSHOPPING consists of one thing being superimposed onto another. I can't do a bunch of fancy things, but this is probably the best thing I learned in my graphic design class at school.

MONOCHROMATIC TYPOGRAPHY DUO are pairs of typography edits. The first is a vertical box and features the same part of a lyric/quote repeated, and the second is a smaller, horizonal part which is the inverse of the other colors.

PICSPAMS + PHOTOGRAPHS + QUOTES are a grid (2x3, 2x4, or 2x5) of photographs. They are almost always black and white (in order for them to not be mismatched), but I can try tints and recoloring if you want, although that will take longer. These are all in the same image, not separates. Features two quotes or one quote in two parts.

shad: well the first one i just... made, lol. used a photo of los angeles just because and then messed around on dafont until I found fonts i wanted to use. the second one was inspired by this tutorial, which is how I learned how to do the split gradient thing, but since I have photoshop elements 7.0 as opposed to cs5 or cs6, i couldn't do any of the other stuff so i just kind of figured it out myself :P

question. Can you do a header that has a gif in the background or no?

no, they're almost never big enough and i only work with gifs on online-image-editor, which i don't use for headers.

okay ^_^ I was just curious cause I don't think I've seen it done before.

yeah? I could prolly find another gif.

^_^ okay~ It might take a minute though, finding good gifs relating to the chinese zodiac is hard
