Sounds great! I've always wanted a Readathon during the winter, when things are coziest for staying inside and doing a whole bunch of reading. Thanks for organizing!
I think 8pm EST on Jan 2nd is 2am CET on Jan 3rd for me. I could theoretically start reading on Saturday morning, but I have plans for brunch and an exhibition on that Saturday, so I wouldn’t be around an awful lot. Sunday looks promising.
For me, it starts at 2am CET on Jan 3rd and ends on Jan 5th at 2am CET which is early on Monday and it is a working day. So, if I participate, I will probably start together with all of you and just do 24 hours.
You can join for as much of it as you like. I wanted to cover as many people's availability as possible. So you can join for 24 or all 48 hrs. Also, feel free to start early if, for your time zone, it's odd hours!

I might start early, indeed!

I hope you enjoy it! I'm going to try to read more of the genres I tend to rate highly.

I have not yet decided on a TBR…
I have not yet decided on a TBR…
I got the dates wrong! I thought this was the 1st and 2nd. Well I have medical things to get ready for, so I will be here off and on through the 3rd!
I'm in! I've set a very short TBR on my own thread and will track my progress there. I'll mainly be reading on Sunday as I have family plans tomorrow so reading time will be limited. So happy to be joining you all so early in the year. What a great new year treat.
A little bit late start (only by 18 minutes lol) but here's where I stand in my current reads:Angelfall: 4%
Our Winter Monster: pg 37
Froi of the Exiles: 1hr 24min listened
I also am back to work today, but looking forward to resuming reading this evening when this starts. Stayed up late reading a romance book last
I plan to work on my current reads, which are:
which I picked back up for the new year, and
then I'll start

then I'll start
I teach and workout at the gym on Friday evenings and had good intentions of reading throughout the day today, but instead I worked in the kitchen, etc. 😒But I usually read for a couple of hours once I get home from the gym...
I'll be reading Woman on the Edge for the Popsugar 2026 January Monthly Group Read as well as finishing Everything I Never Told You from the Popsugar 2025 December Monthly Group Read. (There's a theme there! LOL)
I am anxious to start The Favorites as well!
I have to work today but will try to join tonight and tomorrow. it will be great to get a headstart on the 2026 reading goals
I've heard good things about The Favorites. I just bought an ebook copy on sale, but I'm not sure how long it'll be before I manage to get to it. Hope you enjoy it!
Going to start a little early, reading
and looking forward to diving in so i can get it back to the library for the 200+ people waiting on it!
So glad someone posted about this over in the Facebook group! I haven't checked in here in a while so I almost missed this.
Looking forward to steady reading, December was a very successful Reading month for me and I want to keep that up!Reading: ---
---The Twelve Murders of Christmas December purchase, now Mount TBR, reading one story and puzzle per day. To p. 203.
---The Haunting of Sorrow's Leap. NetGalley ARC new January 1. To 17%.
---
---Sherlock Holmes & The Three Winter Terrors Mount TBR
= 27.5 Hours
I'm sick 😫 of course, so I'll pop in when I can but I'm running on toast and ginger ale (which I can hopefully keep down). I hope i can get some reading done as well.
Excited to continue my books.Worked today until 630 pm, then listened to some music and had some tea while putting together dinner (then eating it). Almost 8 pm here and ready to start.
I think we're (spouse & I) starting with this pair:
I've read the first, but it's been a while, so I need to read it again before the second. (And I already annotated it, so I can just relax this time, making it a chill way to start.)
Alright, gotta find an audiobook while I make some lemon bars real quick... Then curling up with The Donors to start with. Hubby is ordering us pizza for easy grab and go as we want.
