Boxall's 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die discussion

Has anyone else read it? I'm liking it very much so far! Seems like one of those books that doesn't take too much effort. A good beach read for example.

But so far I haven't heard of anyone else that has read it here, would like to hear other opinions too.

I read this book several years ago and really liked it! I don't remember very many details of the story anymore but it's one I've kept on the shelf, not given away. I've borrowed it to others to read they and liked it but not as much as I did.

I just finished reading (listening) to it for a book group. I thought it was fantastic and the setting was very interesting to me being divided between a hippie commune and the Alaskan frontier, both very unusual places for someone from my background.
