That's a good book - I read it with the Barnes and Noble First Look Book Club and got the ARC for free.

Susan, my best friend & I were at Barnes & Noble last Friday. She carried that book (Hush Hush)around the store & at the last minute put it back. She is regretting it now. Please let us know if you like it. She's new to Goodreads & needs some friends. Her name is Danette Cole.

I have had a couple of GREAT finds lately. At my local library, I bought a stellar edition of The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay (hardcover!) for a mere 50 cents! I also found a mint condition of Practical Magic (hardcover!) in a thrift store for $1.00. Same goes for Edgar Sawtelle, The Art of Racing in the Rain, and The Lovely Bones. All under $1! I am amazed. Also, I cannot believe people would give these books away!

Brittany, nice finds. You'll like Kavalier and Clay. I brought home four more used from work at the library today and got another delivered from BookDepository: Hounded to Death A Novel. Brings me to six already.

3 more used from the library. We're currently weeding our young adult and juvenile fiction, so I'm likely to be bringing home a lot more. If these books aren't going to stay at the public library, they can come home with me to my library instead. :-)

I know what you mean! I just got 2 brand new hardcovers at Goodwill for 50 cents! Both Alice Hoffman, the Blackbird House, and the Foretelling. Also, 2 new paperback Harry Potters! I agree that I can't believe what some people give away!

I haven't read Savor Me Slowly yet. I probably won't get to it for a little while because it's #3 in the series and I haven't read the first two yet. I like to buy the whole series before I start reading them. Not always the smartest thing to do if the series stinks, LOL.

I agree. I read Deep Kiss of Winter, but I haven't read any ofthe other Alien Huntress books. But it was really good, so now I want to.

Soulless arrived from bookdepository so my total is up to 6 now.

These came in the mail today. I won them on ebay:

I went to the McKay's Used Books today and got five books with my trade credit.

That brings my total to 12 for the month. There are a couple more I'm looking for deals on ebay for and I want to buy Swallowing Darkness by LKH when it comes out in paperback next week. Can't wait!

I can't drive by the McKay's here in Nashville without stopping!

I'm going to go today or tomorrow and utilize my borders coupons and get for sure Shiver, but not sure what else.... I just can't decide... but I don't want to let the 20% off coupon go to waste ;)
