Cant stop role playing! discussion

*BRRRRIIINNNGG* The school bell rings just as Clara gets to class. "Whew. The first day of school and I'm already almost late!" She sits down in a chair next to a boy with earphones on. "Um... I think you should turn those off. Class has started." He looks at her, looks at the clock, then turns his player off. "Thanks for the heads up. Don't want a detention on my first day." The teacher begins the lesson. The bell rings to mark the end of class. "Remember your homework! Lesson 5, Chapters 3-6!" The teens exit and head for their next class. A typical day at Oakdale High. As Clara finds her new seat, she looks out the window. Math is her least favorite subject. She looks at the school fountain in the court yard. The water shoots into the air. She's so surprized, she leans back. All the water that went up, was now coming down in a soft rain. Did I do that? She thought about it. Then leaned forward and tried to make a stream of water come up out of the pool around the base. As if by magic, it did. She was controling the water. She was a mutant!

Selina was walking on the sidewalk. Her school hadn't had school today, so she was wandering around town. Sometimes, she would randomly twirl while she walked, but then she stopped and just walked. ((hehehe))

Ember was sitting next to Clara and saw the little show that she had put on. She snarled and froze the water that Clara had played with. Noob... She thought coldly. Her personality was as cold as her powers.

Selina was walking by their school. She hadn't been controlling her mind reading powers, so tons of thoughts rushed into her head. "Oh god, a school." She muttered, as one thought stood out to her, it was cold, and sounded cruel(if you don't mind.). She focussed in on it, blocking the others out.

What just happened? Did I do that? I can freeze things too? This is way too weird. I've got to get out of here., she thought. She raised her hand. When the teacher called on her, she asked to use the restroom. When she got there, on the inside of on of the stall she went into was a picture of a peron being shot to death by solders. There was an arrow pointing to the person and at the end of it was the word 'mutant'. She grew so angry, the toilet next in the next stall turned into a fountain until she noticed what she was doing. She went into that stall to make sure she didn't damage anything. Scribbled on the wall of the stall was a phone number "1-826-688-2687" below it read "If you're a mutant, call this number" She checked the cell phone in her pocket. She had full bars in the bathroom! She called the number right away. She needed any help she could get.

Selina hated it when important thoughts block out the ones she's concentrating on, but when she heard the word mutant she froze.

Selina shrugged, walking away.

Ember dashed out of the school when it was over. She went straight to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters but she bumped into Selina. "Sorry." She muttered.

Selina smiled. "It ok!" She said, happily. 'Obviously the girl from the school just now...' She thought, going through her thoughts.

Ember snarled. "What's your name, kid?" She demanded. Might as well make conversation when she has the time.

"Selina. What's yours??" She asked.

"Ember..." She muttered, getting annoyed with Selina quickly. "Hey, I gotta go to..." She paused not knowing what to call the mutant school. "Work." She decided as she walked away. Weird little kid... She thought to herself.

"Wait, what's a mutant school?" Selina asked, catching up with Ember.

"What?" Ember asked looking at Selina. Then it hit her like a rock. "Aw sh*t... Follow me..." Ember said walking to the school.

Selina followed happily. "So, what is a mutant? Kids at my school say that they're monsters, but i don't think so..." She said.

"Mutants are people that are differant... Not better, not worse, not monsters... Just differant." Ember explained the same as her mutant teachers told her when she was Selina's age.

"Oh........." Selina said. "So, different in what way?? Like me?? Cause i can read minds and stuff. Like that different...??" She asked.

"Yes... Like that differant...." Ember growled. They reached the school. They went inside and went through orientation together. Ember felt it was rude to dump a little kid in a collage like school and then leave her. After orientation, Ember looked at Selina. "Um... Do you want to...?" She started akwardly. She had never asked someone to share a dorm with her. She knew that Selina would be kind of annoying, but it would be better than being alone.

"A dorm?? Uh, ok.." Selina said.

"Yeah..." Ember said feeling really uncomfortable. She walked Selina to her dorm. It was littered with junk food and scientific notes. Ember shrugged. "It's messy, but it's home..." She flopped on the couch and flipped on the TV.

Selina smiled. "It's awesome... But do ya mind me making a place to dance and stuff? Cuase, that's my favorite thing to do..." She said.

"As long as you don't throw anything away..." She muttered keeping her eyes focused on the TV.
Someone knocked on the door.
"Got it!" Ember shouted. She opened the door to see Gabriel with research supplies; phials, numerous chemicals and pleanty of junk food. "Hi!" She said in a voice that didn't sound like the Ember 10 minutes ago.
"Hey, who's that?" Gabriel asked as he pointed to Selina, who was moving around a bunch of stuff.
"New roomie." Ember said as if it was nothing.

Selina looked up. "Hey!" She said cheerily, putting her hair in a ponytail. "I'm selina. You're... Gabriel?? cool!" She said, knowing his name because she could hear it in Ember's mind.

"Uh... I thought you didn't like people..." Gabriel said warily as he walked inside and spread the supplies on the table.
"Eh... I didn't want her to be aline... I mean, she could be our..." Ember said helping Gabriel.
"Yeah, she'd be a good one of those..." Gabriel replied smiling smugly knowing what Ember meant.
Ember smiled. Gabriel was one of the only people that made her feel good.

Selina looked through their mind but still had no idea what they were talking about. She shrugged it off and continued moving stuff around. It was still a bit cluttered and unorganized, but it was a place to dance, none the less.

Ember and Gabriel were talking to each other.
"Will she want some profit?" Gabriel asked in a hushed tone.
"Why would she? She's like, ten." Ember said.
Gabriel took a breath. "I know but... This was our thing." He said.
"Did Egor get credit for making Frankenstien's monster?" She asked.
Gabriel paused. "Good point... Now, would a mixture of Krypton and Sodium work?"
"I don't know... Try it." Ember said.
Gabriel shrugged and mixed the two liquids. "Now we just need some mutant bl-" He was cut off.
"Shh!" Ember hissed. "Selina! We need you for a minute!" She said kindly.
Gabriel shook his head.

Selina shook her head. "I'm busyyy!" She said, popping her ipod headphones in her ears. She started dancing to a slow song, gracefully. ((hehe, she's a good dancer..))

Ember sighed. "It may take some time... Here, we haven't used my pinkie in a while..." She outstreched her pinkie. All her other fingers had bandages on them.
Gabriel sighed. "Alright..." He took a needle and pricked her pinkie finger.
Ember winced. "Ow..." She muttered.
Gabriel put some of the blood on a glass sheet. He put a drop of the chemical liquid with the blood and looked under the microscope. The mutant blood cells dissolved. "Nope..." Gabriel said sadly.
Ember took her pinkie out of her mouth. "Too bad... Now we only need oh.... fifty million more combanations to try?" She joked.
Gabriel laughed.

Clara walked in. "Oh, I didn't know this room was already occupied. The Professor said, never mind. I'll just go ask for another room. Her cheeks were red with embarrassment as she closed the door behind her.

Meanwhile....

Daniel was walking down the hall. He saw Clara walk out and away. She must be new, too, he thought. He knocked on the door. "Hey Selina! The Professor wanted me to give you this..."

Selina turned off her ipod and went to the door. "What is it?" She asked, looking at his hands.

Gabriel glared at Daniel. "More people..." He grumbled.
"I know... It's so hard to be social." Ember teased.

In Daniel's hands was a uniform. An X-Uniform. Professor Xavier wanted her to be on the team. "Um.... your uniform I believe. Welcome to the X-Men Selina."

((What do they look like?? lol))

((Um..... check the charries. If you don't like it, you can also find your own, but that's the one that every member gets.))

"Do i have to wear that??" Selina asked, looking at the uniform with distaste.

"No, you can make your own. I stuck to it. I can't make anything but plants grow."

"Oh. Ok.. Cool. Do you know what they're doing, though?" She asked, gesturing towards Gabriel and Ember.

" A science project for Mr. Mckoy. I'm working with Kelsey."

"Oh.." She said. "So, am i gonna have one??" She asked curiously. She was tapping her foot, not because she was waiting for an answer, but because she could never be still.

((Mr. Mckoy is Beast.... you might be able to see pics in Google images under "x-men beast". He's a science professor and he's very intelligent and likes Shakespeare.
