I don't really do NanoWriMo, I don't have the time, and I wouldn't be able to do it.

It's about a girl who has prophetic dreamsabout people she's really close to, and she has to either fullfil them or make them different, going against the nature of herself

I knew a kid who called himself Triscuit. His parents, his coach, his friends, his teachers . . .they all called him that.
Except for me, mwuhahaha. I called him Johnny and it annoyed the HECK out of him.

i'm not even sure if i should try. I'm kind of a leisure writer. I do it whenever I want to, and only write down like a 16th of the stuff I come up with usually, but I write only a page or two every other month or so, so I know I wouldn't be motivated enough to do the nanowrimo

C'om, do it DragonEyes, you never know what could happen, or what brilliantly idea will hit you!

This is my first nanowrimo too. I really hope i can finish, but sometimes its just....hard

Hi guys! sorry I haven't been on, I've been busy with school and homework and stuff like that. and I've also been trying to work on NaNo whenever possible, so don't be surprised if I'm not on goodreads as often. . .

NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. It started November 1 and ends at the end of the month (hence, nanowriMONTH :). I believe that you write for a certain number of hours per day, trying to reach a goal of a certain number of words. No editing allowed. (Is that right? This is what I know from a friend who is attempting it)

It sounds fun, but I just have no time. I have two essays/book summaries due a week for the class I'm in, and a term paper due this month. So...it's a no-go for me.

Good luck to all of you brave (or insane) enough to do it! :D Maybe you'll post them when you're done? (Please?)

yup, pretty much. There are no strict rules about editing, but you can if you want to. And you don't have to write certain numbers of hours per day, you could go a week without typing a single word(not that that would improve your chances much)

right now i'm at 9452, so not very far, but spmething to be proud of for a first timer!

Oh, and Ragnarok Skye, that makes sense. I know that my friend is planning to write for about three hours a day, something that I couldn't do. I'm more of a write when I feel like it, every once in a while, kind of person. You know?

Destiny is about a girl named Regina Mae, who has prophetic dreams about the people closest to her. These dreams are so weird, she starts worrying about them. Soon, the dreams start happening, and Regina Mae has to choose to do the same thing she did in her dreams, or go against her inner self and change what happened, and what other people will soon do. So can she change her ways, or will she lose someone special forever?

Castle Fern is about a girl adopted by a castle full of kitties!
