Does anyone on here garden? If you do what kind of things do you grow?

I am just curious, because I want to have a garden this year. :)

I used to, but I live in California and we replaced it all with succulents because we're in a drought. Whatever you do, DON'T plant corn. My family did and our property was infested with mice. When we walked up, there would literally be twenty mice climbing up the corn stalks and racing away when they saw us.

I think I am just going to play Zinnias, Snapdragons, Evening Primroses and maybe a tomato plant. I want some herbs but I can't find any. :(
I am hoping the lowes has some, and they just didn't post them on their website.
