It's that time of the month to nominate what great books YOU all want to read during the Merry Month of May!
[*Tra-la, it's May, the Merry month of may...*]
Ah-hem ... sorry ... wrong musical. Anyways, up for nomination this month we have the following categories:
READER PICK: this is for a dead tree you can pick up at your local bookstore or for free at your local library. Ebook version must be on at least three different distribution platforms.
INDIE PICK: this is for the newer, edgy stuff written by the little guy who doesn't have a big publishing house budget behind him.
YOUNG ADULT FRIENDLY PICK: this is for a book which is both written for and starring a 12-17 year old protagonist which has been published within the last 15 years. Must be space opera -or- science fiction with a space component (i.e., no dystopia or kid-joins-the-military-at-18 stuff, and no old-geezer stuff written in the way-back-when that makes my 13-year-old's eyes roll).
And for our SERIES PICK we'll be continuing on with the Spectras Arise trilogy by Tammy Salyer, Contract of Betrayal.
So drop your nominations in the thread below and I'll come back periodically to post all the pretty little book covers.
Be epic!
