Hi Beth, I've started this! It just became available at the library.

I've read every Ruth Ware book except for the most recent one (Woman in Suite 11). I really like her writing style even when the stories may not be earth-shattering. They are comfort reads really.

Through Part 1: (view spoiler)[I absolutely hate Nico and this entire scenario. I don't think Lila and him are compatible at all, which was "proven" through the reality show's first challenge. I thought I might just be being a cynic until she actually started thinking about the relationship and all the wrong things. I'm glad he's gone but he'll probably be around somewhere.

Was he the one she was fighting at the beginning? I wonder if someone specifically brought these people together to kill them? Baz maybe? (hide spoiler)]

Through Part 2 (Ch. 26): (view spoiler)[I'm really liking this book. There is a lot of tension and it's keeping me on the edge of my seat. I like that this one is a little different than a lot of Ware's books in that there's no huge mystery as to who the bad guy is and a great portion of the tension comes from the situation and not the murders themselves.

That being said, I've been feeling a bit suspicious of Zana for a while, possibly because she's the least likely character to be a murderer, but also because of her diary entries that are just completely full of lies that make it sound like Connor is a good guy when he's obviously not (unless of course Lila's POV is the misleading one- which is also a possibility). Either way I'm expecting some sort of twist.

I wonder where Joel is, what will be done about Connor, and how they'll get off the island. And I wonder if Nico is actually dead. (hide spoiler)]
