We have no nominations so far.Should I create a poll of the other four shortlisted books?
I know several of you have read them already, but you could vote on which one you want to discuss.
Val, the winner is announced June 3. Is that too late for us to select our July read? If not, maybe we can wait to see as that might 'self select' for us (if it's not one of the titles we've already read)? If you feel it is too late, I'd be very happy to vote now between the other four shortlisted books.
We used to choose the books a month ahead, but several people complained that was not long enough and so we increased the lead-time.I could put 'wait until winner is announced and read that one' as an option in the poll.
Result: We will be waiting until the winner is announced. If it is The Bees or A Spool of Blue Thread, we will be reading The Paying Guests.
