I'm not a big sci-fi fan (I pretty much stick with Harry Harrison when I do read sci-fi), but I really liked this book. I'd read it over and over. I highly recommend it, even if you don't like sci-fi.
ARMOR - Is an intense book. It will hold your attention. It will also, Mislead you! It's intense, Thrilling, & Doesn't deviate at all.
This only problem was the character, Jack Crow.
I just finished it. And it is a strangely intense book. I can't say it's a favorite but I know some of it will stick with me.

I recommend reading it again next year after it has settled. I did and when I read it the 2nd time, it all clicked into place.
Another good book that reads something like this is Robopoclypse.
