Being Human American Remake

Its rare that the american version ever lives up to BBC. There are way to many restrictions! (eleventh hour, as an example!)
I agree with everyone but I will still keep up hope that it will actually be GOOD. I hope they cast hot guys.
My initial thoughts are: just leave it alone. Why do we have to have a remake? Just watch the original.
k I just saw the hint on SyFy that Being Human is coming to that station. Whether that is the remake, or since they do replay BBC shows (IE Dr. Who) we'll see!
I saw the same thing, so I looked it up on the News section of scifi.com and the only thing it has is about a remake. Filming soon and will be on sometime this year.I don't care who they cast, nobody will ever be as hot as Aidan Turner as Mitchell.
^ lol agreed! I'm still curious though...If they ruin it, I want to bitch.
If they do a good job, I want to say I loved the series back when and feel all superior as I sit quietly in my room alone.

"You've probably heard that there will be an American version of Being Human. We think it's a testament to the power of our series that another version will happen. It will be different, though it will be recognisable. We hope it will be brilliant, and we hope you like it when it comes. But it won't affect the show we are making here and now."
Writers, casting and storylines are yet to be confirmed, but you can expect thirteen episodes coming to American screens soon. And don't worry, it's not going to impact on the British show so you can still expect a full quality second series when it airs here in the UK at the start of 2010. "

My first thought? They are gonna screw it up...
