Joshua Blum (joshuablum) | 6 comments What's better that one free book?

Why, two of course!

Would you like not only a guaranteed free book (see how below) but a chance to win signed, print copies of not one, but two free PRINT books?

Then read on!

The Thirteenth Hour is a new adult fantasy tale heavily inspired by 80s fantasy film and books such as The Neverending Story and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It has a good sense of both humor and adventure, some of which is depicted in over 35 hand-drawn illustrations.

You can learn more about the book and art in the following links below:

So here's the deal. The Thirteenth Hour, normally 4.99 USD on amazon.com, is going FREE from May 13th to the 17th. Here's how to enter the raffle.

1.) Download it free during that time (Kindle Unlimited also counts).

2.) Read the book (obviously).

3.) Post your thoughts on amazon.com by June 13th, 2015 and email me (writejoshublum@gmail.com) a link to your review for a chance to win ...

3.) ... a signed copy of The Thirteenth Hour AND a signed copy of the prequel to the Thirteenth Hour, the novelette, A Shadow in the Moonlight. The raffle winner's name will be drawn from the entries on June 14th, 2014 and announced on my website (don't worry, no contact info will be displayed).

4.) I will contact the raffle winner privately to arrange prize delivery (worldwide)! The winner doesn't have to pay for a thing.

Happy reading and good luck!

Alia | 67 comments Are only people over 18 allowed to read it?

Joshua Blum (joshuablum) | 6 comments No, there are a few bad words (no f bombs) and some violence (fight scenes), but that's about it. I wrote it as a book that I would've wanted to read as a teenager so I don't see any reason why people under 18 couldn't read it. There are some parts of it that probably will make more sense to people who are a little older, but I don't see how that's different from most books. Thanks for asking!

Joshua Blum (joshuablum) | 6 comments It's a coming of age fairy tale about a young man named Logan who is drafted into his kingdom's Army and ends up on a quest to find the secret to eternal life. Although it takes place in a fantasy world and has some typical fantasy themes, most of the story is character driven, meaning it's about what goes on in Logan's head and his experience growing very fast as he's thrust into one crazy situation after another. The story is sometimes also told from the perspective of Aurora, Logan's best friend from childhood, so sometimes we get her thoughts, too. At its heart, it's really about how two young adults navigate the confusing, often difficult path towards figuring out who they are and becoming adults.

Alia | 67 comments Is there any of these books in nz?

message 9: by Joshua (new) - added it

Joshua Blum (joshuablum) | 6 comments I'm not sure. Not in a bookstore, I don't think, but as for online ... it's available on amazon in many different countries, including amazon.com.au but am not sure about NZ. How do you normally get books online in NZ? I know amazon does ship stuff there thru their amazon global program.

Regardless of the country, you can read the prequel online free at Smashwords: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view...

Thanks for asking!
