Brittie (brittiereads) | 127 comments I currently have pancreatitis and can't eat so I'm finding ways to occupy my time and not think about food.
Its hard because I love food, everything about it and love trying new things.
Ive been crafting a lot but realized I need to conserve my energy.
So I am now going to take up reading.

What are you reading?

I am reading The Rosie Project (Don Tillman #1) by Graeme Simsion

I was trying to read Sugar by Deirdre Riordan Hall but its not fun when you can't eat

Betsy | 65 comments Sorry to hear about your pancreatitis Brittie - that is no fun and hope you'll be feeling better soon. Having acute problems on top of chronic is very challenging. I've been taking Coursera courses so haven't been reading lately but want to start back up with The Deerslayer.

Janelle (janelle5) Sorry to hear about your pancreatitis Brittie. Hope you start to feel better soon. I've just discovered audiobooks and have been reading a number of titles from my local library and from Librivox.

Kerry | 26 comments Hey Brittie
So sorry to hear about your pancreatitis. I'm having a lot of digestive problems at the moment so you have my deepest sympathy. I hope you are getting good care & feel better soon.
I'm currently reading:
The Golem and the Djinni by Helene Wecker
The Distant Hours by Kate Morton
Terrifying Tales by Edgar Allan Poe.
I'm enjoying them all & keeping myself distracted from the pain & fatigue.

Janelle, I don't know if you like non fiction but the instructor of the brain course I took said that My Stroke of Insight was very good in the audio version. ( forget the author's name by she is a brain scientist herself.)

Janelle (janelle5) Thanks Betsy. I don't read a lot of non fiction, but I'll check it out.
