Sarah (sekaplan) I am not a conspiracy nut, or a germaphobe, but this could happen in the future and I would surely die/off myself. I am like Jeevan's brother -- I use a power wheelchair and have limited arm strength to be able to manage myself in my manual. If I didn't die of the flu myself, and wasn't killed, or had killed myself, eventually I would starve to death being unable to provide for myself.

To be honest, I did not initially like this book. The extensive time changes back and forth were a lot, and I didn't really care about the actor at the center of the story. Ultimately, when I was finished I was mostly just really pissed me off. But it has taken me a few weeks to realize that I'm mostly anger because it is a reminder of how helpless I am and how dependent on other people and technology I have become.
