Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

I own this book and would like to add a new cover photo. The cover is the same, it hasn't changed, I just want to upload it because the current photo is very bad and I have properly scanned the cover from the book I own. My question is, should I add an alternative cover edition or am I allowed to delete the current one? In principle we, librarians, shouldn't remove existing covers from the database, but the current one is clearly not suited for Goodreads and I understand I am allowed to delete it in this case. Am I right? Thanks in advance for your support!

If it is the same edition with identical cover you can upgrade to a better quality image from an acceptable source.
