Well, I was just browsing youtube, and I found a video with images from a musical that I love, and audio from a band called Apocalyptica, and I really like the music. I've never liked modern music that wasn't in a musical before. Ever. I am really quite in shock at the moment.
Aditions? Do you mean auditions? My favorite time period is the 19th century and the 10 years or so before and after it (French Revolution #1 --> WWI), although I find WWII amazingly interesting too.
i would *love* to like in the victorian era. of course, i'd miss toilets and hot showers, but some of the upper middle class managed to have hot water...
Oh goodness, so do I. What are you auditioning for?I know! We just watched Arsenic and Old Lace tonight. I loved it! My goodness, they had a deliciously dark sense of humor back then. :D
Movies and TV shows?! That would be so cool! Good luck! And I completely agree with Amelia, except I would probably be annoyed by those corsets.
Ha ha, I would hate to wear a corset. I read somewhere that when Empress Elisabeth (my historical obssession of the past 5 months) was stabbed in the heart, she didn't start to bleed out until her corset was removed 20 minutes later because it was so tight.
I know. She had a very fascinating life and death. I'm working on a video to email to all of my friends about her on her birthday at the moment. Really? Cool!
Good luck with your auditions! they sound so cool!ugh i hate megan fox too, i used to like her but then i found out that she IS really stuck up all the time and thinks shes all that... when i argue with my guy friends about it, they all defend her and they're reasons are shes hot. its quite funny yet sad at the same time...
I don't really know much about Megan Fox besides the fact that she's an actress. Tell your guy friends that there are probably women who are pretty and nice at the same time. ;)Why did everyone seem to have more class back then?
I know what you mean about the Holocaust. It's fascinating to learn about it, even though what happened was absolutely terrible.
We would have discussions on it in history class when I was in 6th grade, and everyone thought that I was Jewish because I read so much about it. No, I've never even read of it before. I'll add it to my list.
I'm watching the movie Rossentrasse right now. It's really good.
i really think its interesting too, i havent read that one but i think i will! how could they LAUGH? thats so mean!last year in middle school we did a play called Korzacks Children and its about the person Korzack who ran an orphanage for kids in the Warsaw Ghetto. It was really good, and it turns out that Korzack actually wrote a book himself, i can't remember the name now, but you should check it out! (i think i spelled his name wrong) :)

There aren't enough words in the English language to describe him.
WHAT?
that is true. have you heard about the lebesborn? i probably shouldnt even mention it--ugghhh they were all so twisted.

Megan Fox? Yeah. She bugs the crap out of me... grr...
Angelina Jolie is okay, but there was one point (look at Gone in 60 Seconds if you want proof) where she looked like a druggie or something... No offense, but she had all these circles under her eyes and they were all red and... yeah.
Go Audrey Hepburn!
Go Audrey Hepburn!
I thought Megan Fox looked pretty good for a while. Then Transformers 2 rolled in. I am one of the few dudes who finds her to be pig disgusting now.

Good work. People get bonus points from me if they don't like Megan Fox... so you all get bonus points. Woot. I'm in a random mood.

I need to see Mary Poppins again. I haven't watched it since I was 6!And I've only seen her in "Wait Until Dark", and thought she was amazing in it!
She most certainly was.And I think you are already aware of my love for that movie, so I won't bother ranting about it again.
You posted a clip to it on the musicals group, right? I loved that clip! I can't wait to see the rest. :D
i LOVE My Fair Lady, i could watch it over and over and over again,*starts singing* "I could have danced all night, I could have danced all night, and still have begged for more!"(i hope those are the right words i havent seen it in a while hehe)... i havent seen mary poppins in a while either! i need to see that movie... but of course the sound of music just makes julie andrews freakin awesome, and nothing can beat that. :)

I think I'm the only American (I don't know if Katri's seen it...I don't remember her posting) on the group who hasn't seen it.
But you should definately join! It's a fun group!
Not everyone on it knows a lot of musicals. I think there I quite a few people only know two or three.
