Which is better: Cirque du freak:The Saga Of Darren Shan or Demonata?

I'm sure its probly hard to pick but i think Cirque Du freak:The Saga Of Darren Shan is the best of the two!!

I don't think I can answer this considering I haven't read most of the demonata yet
i have not read demonata but i love cirque du freak!!!!!!!!!!!
Demonata is much better however I also enjoyed Cirque du freak!!
The Demonata, no brainer. I read Cirque Du Freak first and I thought it was so amazing that Shan wouldn't be able to top it, but I was wrong. Can't wait for Hell's Heroes!

Cirque Du Freak is the best, and I just finished reading Hell's Heroes. Read my review on my comment of Hell's Heroes, and I don't really give anything away in the story.Um,... guys? Can we be civil here? Who's moderating this? Anybody? And what are the rules? I think that even if we passionately disagree, we can still do so civilly.
lol on darkfreak's "sane? NO!" Yeah, one has to be a little bent to write the types of stories Shan does, but he writes them well. Well...mostly, see my review of Hell's Heroes.
I would have claimed that the Demonata was the best, or more likely for someone closer to my age (Cirque Du Freak is a little young on the audience department), but the last book took it down a notch for me. To me it ended a little flat. If ya'll disagree with me, that's fine. I am reserving final judgment until I reread the Demonata again (without having the months of delay waiting for the newest books to come out to mess with my memory).

Haven't read the Demonata series yet. Loved the Cirque De Freak series though, so I'm looking forward to reading the Demonata series.

no, there not!! cirque is enticing all the way until the very last parts of book 12. demonata also good, but very confusing in some (many) parts. they are not equal, but its hard to say which is better.
