I will be Sticking to 40 books 📚 this year as well. I would like to finish the 7 sister series by Lucinda Riley this year. And try some more Indian authors..
I want to finish 60 books this year.. I am thinking 5 books a month to keep it up.. one thriller a month and I love fantasies more so more of that only.. I want to read ACOTAR series atleast this year. If possible ToG also
I don't do numeric goals anymore. I set my challenge to 1 book only to track my progress and see how I did by the end of the year. For me, it's quality>quantity. That being said, I feel like classics are calling to me this year. I want to read Wuthering Heights, Frankenstein, East of Eden, Stoner, and Lonesome Dove.
I've also noticed that I haven't been reading the bestsellers much (for better or for worse), so I may try to read more of the bestsellers I think I will like from 2025 and 2024.
And lastly, there are certain books I've ignored for years and I don't know why. I know I'll love them and want to prioritize those. Examples: Noughts & Crosses and The Bastard of Istanbul.
That said, I am a mood reader, so I may not even get to any of these. However, I really want to read at least two of the classics I mentioned.
One thing I also want to do is mix things up and read some nonfiction. I love memoirs, but I think I'd like some history books or books with cultural topics.
This year my goal is to read 30 books from countries around the world, in no particular order. I’ve covered the USA, Zimbabwe, and Iran so far :)

Michelle: highly recommend The Stationery Shop and The Lion Women of Tehran by Marjan Kamali. If you also like Iranian-American stories, Martyr! by Kaveh Akbar is great!
Thank you Adeeb! ive read Stationary Shop but not the other two so ill definitely check them out, appreciate the recommendations!
My main goal is to finish my TBR this year. I’ll focus on novels—fiction, romance, and thrillers. I don’t have a specific number in mind.
My goal is to read 30 books this year, and I'm currently on book number 4. I also aim to read more books on Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh) and Quranic sciences (Uloom al-Quran).
My goal is to read 42 books this year. this is how many i read last year and my goal last year was 36. so i aim to over achieve this year. i have a mixed genre in my TBR and hope to cover different kinds of books. i have been inspired by an insta account where this woman reads through all countries in alphabetical order. she is doing M at the moment and that is 22 books set is 22 different countries. i wish i could do that but my attention span is that of a goldfish and i keep getting distracted by my goodreads friends' current read.

What are your reading goals for this year?
I'm trying to make my way through Stephen King's works so this year I want to read at least 4 books from him.
I'd also like to read book two in both the Outlander and ACOTAR series.
I'm trying to read a book from every country from an author born in said country, so I'd like to read 4 books for that challenge.
Let's see how I go :)
I'd love to know your goals.
