Lamilla | 873 comments I'm joining January Reverse RAT with my own schedule (we have a long NY weekend here).

Starting with Northanger Abbey (Wordsworth Collector's Editions) by Jane Austen by Jane Austen. A reread.

Lamilla | 873 comments Thank you, ladies! Happy New Year everyone

My favourite Austen is probably Persuasion, Kate, although I of course appreciate both P&P and Emma.

I started Имя розы by Umberto Eco for a book club - also a reread.

I have read and reread that novel of Umberto Eco. So much to understand with the second read, don't you think?

Oh! I love The Name of the Rose! I would love a reread but it is quite long.

message 10: by Lamilla (new)

Lamilla | 873 comments Absolutely, Cynda! And I have high hopes for the group discussion as well.

It is, Vavita! I have almost a month before our meeting, so fingers crossed...

Northanger Abbey is the only Jane Austen I've never read. I'd love to get to it this year.

P&P and Persuasion are my favorites, but everything by Austen is worth reading!
