Sandra, I was happy with the categories we had. I, especially, liked the challenge of finding books from other countries besides England.
It was great..it was fun hunting for books..looking forward to the 2026 challenge. Thanks for all your efforts Sandra
There was a couple that I didn’t do. I knew at the start I wouldn’t. Got to say if they would have fell in my lap. I would have read them. But I never really looked for them. ( lazy 😂)Thanks for all the hard work you are doing. Much appreciated and keeps me busy reading.👏👏👏
I enjoyed the challenge although I didn't quite finish everything. I like the variety of the eras and it challenged me to look for things outside my usual HR reads. Thanks for your efforts, Sandra. We do appreciate it 😊
While I slipped of very badly for this challenge, it is one those I look most forward to , so thankyou so much for the effort you put in.As for my thoughts on the 2025 one, I'm maybe a minority when I say this, but I had a hard time with the challenge this year. I would def prefer if we went back to the old format of eras/ages.

My second half of 2025 didn't fare as well as my first 6 months. My reading of HR slowed down. This is exactly the reason why I look forward to this challenge. I tend to gravitate toward contemporary and non-romance (or light romance) historical fiction. I like this challenge as a reminder to read my HRs.
Since I joined late in the year, I didn't participate but want to thank you for your hard work and the invitation to be a part of this forum.
I really enjoyed this challenge! My reading was a little off this year but then I found my groove in the last few months of the year. I'm bummed I didn't complete but I came very close (11 out of 12). Historical romance is one of my favorite genres and it was fun to look through the GR lists. Those were very helpful! I'm hoping this challenge comes back for 2026.
Ohhh, Seriously, sometimes I really hate GR! I've posted this post on my phone, and I came to it time and time again, in my phone there were no feedback at all!! I thought that was strange... now I get why!! You answer but I couldn't see it... Sorry!!
Thanks for all your answers!! I really can't feedback my own experience because I was very short in reading this year... I didn't even keep track about I was doing. I hope these year it's different for me. I really find my love for reading, and reading HR in the end of the year, because I was ill but I hope I'll keep up in 2026 :)
One of the things I like most in this challenge is that we can help each other finding the books we want to read. And, some of them are always a no for me, like pre historian or cowboys...

Have you sensed any problems?
Was it difficult to find some eras or origins?
Do we keep the challenge with the same structure?
Do you want to change something?
What do you think? 🤔
