Oh my! I'm only to Chapter 4. Chapter 3 made my eyebrows go up and now I'm like what else is going to happen. I'm going to need some more of y'all to start this one. I'll add spoiler tags later.

I'm starting today!! eeee! can't wait!

I can probably start this tomorrow.

This one is twisty....I actually like it and am working on figuring things out.

I finished it last night. Don't take me to that fancy house! It took a little bit to catch on to the chapters. I gave it a 4 overall. It kept me entertained and I read it fast to move to the next one. I'll add thoughts when others chime in. :)

(view spoiler)[ oooh man this sister gives me the creeps. I don't like the way she's dodgy and manipulative - but I feel like BOTH traits are ones she could have gotten from being held
but man, her not wanting to call police - I mean, maybe if she killed him? but even then, I can't imagine NOT calling the police.

the other story here - the sister and brother. sketchy. what is really going on? are we to assume she is actually the girl that arrived at Caitlin's house?

I'm also a little worried about Oscar's secret project. I really really hope it isn't Caitlin's family's story. . . and now that the sister is back, he has even more info! ugh. really hope he's a good guy

Chapter 13 - I'm finding this all to be a bit creepy.

(view spoiler)[ well. . .I was hoping for a moment there that Caitie would get her backbone and keep it but. . .I don't like her boyfriend/finace. I still think he is writing a story about her family and her sister. I think he's hiding and lying so much

and her parents?! that was unbelievable! that they yelled at her and keep pretending that both their daughters are adults. I would avoid them too. awful

but so far I hate how all the girls are jockeying for each other's friendships and don't want to share anyone. that's such an odd thing to me, I've never been possessive of a friend - like I can be their only friend. so I guess I don't understand why everyone - Gemma, Florence, Caitie - why they feel like they can't have other friends and be friends with each other

interesting about the therapist. I was worried he might be a bad guy too - so many people really don't seem to like Caitie. I have no idea why she has surrounded herself with so many people that barely tolerate her.

I agree it was creepy but then I couldn't put it down. I needed to know how it kept going.

(view spoiler)[It took me a little bit into the book to realize that we had two different timelines going on. I thought Eleanor was the creepy sibling at first but then Heath showed his true colors. I wish Caitie had more of a back bone too. Never liked Oscar, then I really didn't like Oscar. (hide spoiler)]

Is it just me? I think you are all done with this one but it's a bit confusing because (view spoiler)[what does Elinor and her brother have to do with Olivia and Caitie? The brother/sister relationship sounds just a bit almost incestuous.

And why didn't Olivia want to call the police? What was the deal about her wedding dress when she said, "Just like mine"? I need answers! (hide spoiler)]

It takes a while for the two storylines to come together. And yeah, very incestuous.

Oh yeah that relationship was weird from the beginning. It took me a little bit to realize we had two storylines happening also.

(view spoiler)[OMG the section where they kissed and more...gross! I had no idea that she was only 15 so did I miss that? I kind of don't blame Uncle Robert for what he did to Heath, but obviously it wasn't right either. I wondered if Robert wanted her too.

Is Olivia an impostor or is she really who she says? Now I want to know! Honestly, I'm not sure I want her to be Olivia just because of how she is but maybe there are reasons for it.

We have a lot planned for today since it's my birthday so not too sure when I will be able to post for the rest of the book. We have a dinner cruise planned for 3:30 through 7:00 and so we're looking forward to that. Thursday is an island circle tour, Saturday is whale watching, and Sunday is the luau so we are celebrating very well. lol (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I have to agree. I thought it was ridiculous how Caitie worried about Florence being friends with Olivia again. Seems totally understandable. Also, YES, she needs to get a backbone and I hope she does! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Wow! A lot happened in this section. I'm even suspicious of the "therapist" now. He is not being professional and the one thing he knows is that Caitie doesn't want to be alone. I feel so bad for her that none of her family/friends believe her. I don't think she is just mental and hallucinating. When Olivia told her that she'd bury her like her sister that sealed it...UNLESS Caitlin is imagining. lol

Oscar, what a jerk! Whether he ever "loved" her or not is now definitely in question since he won't give up the book deal Ane Heath murdered Uncle Robert. Jeez. I need all of the answers so it better not end in a cliff hanger. (hide spoiler)]

Well, I wasn't totally satisfied with the ending, but I knew that (view spoiler)[was fishy and I was not surprised that it was him after all. That was a bit over the top, but it still held my interest and I just had to know who was who. (hide spoiler)]
