📘 Books must be a minimum of 140 pages
📘 Rereads are allowed if the book was last read more than 6 months ago
📘 Audiobooks must be a minimum of 3 hours in length

Q: Will we need to read more than 1 book a week?
📖 A: No. This is a team challenge but it is at your team's pace. There is no rush here. You can take as long as you need. No speed reading is involved.

Q: Are there other things involved that will take time outside of reading?
📖 A: Nope. Just reading for the tasks

Q: How long is this challenge?
📖 A: This challenge ends when your team calls "Mercy!" or they have finished all 4 seasons.

Q: Hi, Donna, how are the reads to be distributed between the team? 1 task per person or however we decide each thread (like, a person could read 2 books this week and nil books the next one, etc)?
We do have to read for each prompt for each episode, right?
📖 A: Every episode has 5 tasks. Everyone should pick one task. Nobody should have the same task. The team will decide who gets which task.

I have two books I was eyeing which should work: Us Against You (based on the characters in the first book in the trilogy, there should be at least one set of brothers) or Night Shift (for SERPENT).

Or it could be that you just spied on the other teams. Not really much guessing there. Doesn't work in all of my challenges. I have a tendency to try to mix things up so you can't spy on other threads. Teams that spied in my Sinister Toys challenge got "punished".

I'd like to do the brothers task if that's cool with everyone. Trying to work on series this year & read enough this morning to confirm there are brothers in Us Against You. :)

How it fits: The book focuses on the rivalry between two small towns and their hockey teams so it has a big cast - coaches, players, fans, family members, etc, but the most important brothers in the story are Teemu and Vidar Rinnius.

And the Sword in the Stone

🗡️ “When Camelot stirs, legends awaken—and the past is far from buried.”

The Serpent Brotherhood is close to unleashing unchecked magic on the world. Flynn, mortally wounded by Excalibur, flees with Eve and the new recruits (Jake, Ezekiel, and Cassandra). They meet Jenkins at the hidden Library Annex, which becomes their new base. To stop the Brotherhood’s ritual under Buckingham Palace, they infiltrate a royal ball, recover Excalibur, and ultimately save Flynn when Cassandra uses the sword’s magic to heal him instead of herself. Flynn departs to restore the missing Library, leaving the new Librarians to begin their own journey under Jenkins’s guidance.
