I saw this Parade article posted by Chrissy Callahan 1w ago: "11 Best Audiobooks on Spotify, according to librarians." A bit of click-bait since it only featured the selections from 2 librarians [Tara Gold, a high school librarian who is known by the TikTok handle @literallytara and Annie Harris, a school librarian whose TikTok handle is @schoollibrariannie] but worth discussing....how many have you read?

3. The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna

4. My Heart Is a Chainsaw by Stephen Graham Jones

5. Legendborn by Tracy Deonn

6. Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin
Harris says this is a book that "appeals to lots of different readers" and "rips your heart out."

7. Anxious People by Fredrik Backman
Harris is a huge fan of this author and enjoyed this piece of realistic fiction.

8. The God of the Woods by Liz Moore
"As a librarian, I think a lot about what genre a book is in, so I can catalog and shelve it in a place [where] the right readers will find it. I think The God of the Woods defies categorization," she states.

9. Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
Gold says this book has so many twists and turns that she had to write out a family tree while listening to it. Still, it had her "locked in" with all the excitement.

10. Our Moon: How Earth's Celestial Companion Transformed the Planet, Guided Evolution, and Made Us Who We Are by Rebecca Boyle.

11. Everything Is Tuberculosis: The History and Persistence of Our Deadliest Infection by John Green
Gold is also a fan of the book and says Green "manages to make the content interesting and relevant."
