Okay so today I humiliated myself

I was talking on the phone and I have the emergency on speed dial so I face dialed and called 911 I didn't realize I did though and hung up before it started ringing.

However the 911 operator called back and here was our conversation

911: Miss we received a call from your cell phone are you in need of assistance
Amber: No I'm fine my phone it was an accident was in my pocket and must have dialed.
911: In your pocket?
Amber: Yes Mam
911: Are you at home or out and about?
Amber: I'm at home
911: Your at home?
Amber: Yes mam
911: Are you in need of any assistance
Amber: No mam
911: So you don't need any help
Amber No mam
911: Okay stay safe
Amber: Thank you sorry goodbye
911: Bye

OMG. How embarrassing!
Here's a story about my friends brother:
He is like two years old. So one day I guess he was playing with the phone and dialed 911, but hung up somehow. So like 5 minutes later there was huge loud banging on the door, and the mom got it and there stood like two police officers. The mom told them it was her son, and while she was talking the baby was laughing! Not as funny, but still weird.

It was bad

Ah, that sucks. When I was little I called 911 all the time to chat. I did end up getting a visit once... I hid in the closet, because the banging of the door scared me--they almost knocked it down! So, I just told my dad, "Tell them I'm at Farmor's house. Don't tell them I'm in the closet!"

I hid in the closet and my dad played along for a second or two, but I suspected he was already communicating the situation with hand gestures. The officers "ordered" me to come out. So I did, looking cute and scared. They figured out it was not an emergency situation, and they even gave me one of those hand-out badges. :)

PyroLily ~Qui scribit bis legit~ (pyrolily) | 14 comments This happened last year and stuff doesn't really embaress me. I had to go to the bathroom one day before church started and I wasn't paying atenchen and I pushed open the boys bathroom door. My little brothes were in there washing their hands, whatever right? Well a boy that had switch schools that year, still had friends at my school and was semi-HOT was in there! I don't blush a lot, it's really rare because I have an embarissing family but my face got pretty warm. I said something really smart like 'Wrong door' and walked away.

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

Aww. Well, I'm sure it won't affect his opinion of you.

Poor Vivi.

Well, I'm immune in that, nothing embarrasses me anymore than my mother sometimes.

What if you farted really loudly in class? Would you be embarrassed then?

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

Hmm, I've never been in that situation before, but I guess I'd just act as if I didn't do it. And if someone confronted me I'd continue lying, until they believed me or gave up. That would reduce the embarassment into a minor thing.

message 36: by Vivi (new)

Vivi | 1348 comments But we'd still know it was you

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

And I'd have fun continuing to deny it. :)
