I came across this request.

The item is being sold on the author's webstore and is presented as a "zine".
I noticed that zines are the last item on the Non-book items list.

Now, I am not familiar enough with this format. I understand they are similar to magazines but more DIY, short and niche. However, the user who requested the addition claims it wouldn't fall into this category - as this is not a periodical publication, among other reasons.

I'm still not sure if it is eligible, any help would be appreciated.

In this case, I think zine is either a misnomer or something was lost in translation so to speak. To me this is a valid book after reading the user's explanation and looking at the picture. It looks like a typical poetry or literary magazine as a perfectbound book.
