Shilah So now that we have more or less introduced ourselves, what's next?

message 2: by Ethan (new)

Ethan Miller | 11 comments Are we going to pick a book to read as a group now? Anyone?

message 3: by eirene (new)

eirene (eirenee) should we just make random suggestions?

message 4: by Shilah (new)

Shilah Should it be a new book that no one has read, or a book that is suggested to the group?

message 5: by Kimm (new)

Kimm (kimmumm) I down for either.

message 6: by Ethan (new)

Ethan Miller | 11 comments We should just take suggestions and see what everyone thinks. Yes? No?

message 7: by Shilah (new)

Shilah Open for suggestions...now

message 8: by Ethan (new)

Ethan Miller | 11 comments Well what specific genre does everyone agree on? Once we have a common genre we'll go from there. Personally, as I said, I'm open to any genre that you guys want.

message 9: by eirene (new)

eirene (eirenee) I agree with Ethan.

message 10: by Kimm (new)

Kimm (kimmumm) Im good as long as its not to scary. I don't like horror.

message 11: by Shilah (new)

Shilah Oh but a good mystery is awesome! I personally lean more towards those genres that include paranormal and supernatural elements in them. Then they can be whatever; a romance or thriller or something...but I will try something new if no one else is into that kinda thing

message 12: by Kimm (new)

Kimm (kimmumm) I'm down for a good mystery

message 13: by Ethan (new)

Ethan Miller | 11 comments A mystery sounds great. I'll look up some good mysteries. Any recommendations?

message 14: by Shilah (new)

Shilah I will look at the clevnet catalog and see what i can find to. to be clear we all up for a mystery??

message 15: by Ethan (new)

Ethan Miller | 11 comments I've heard good things about The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Steig Larsson. I personally have wanted to read it and see what you guys think about it. More recommendations are still welcome though!

message 16: by Kimm (new)

Kimm (kimmumm) I'm down for whatever.

message 17: by Shilah (new)

Shilah I was at the library to day and compiled a few books that sounded interesting.

Private Down Under by James Patterson
Deadly Threads by Jane Clelad
Body Count by P.D. Martin
A Deadly Web by Kay Hooper
The Hot Zone by Jayne Castel
The Last Victum by Karen Robards

I personally would like to read The Last Victum...

message 18: by Kimm (new)

Kimm (kimmumm) I'd go more for private down under, body count, or the last victim. as I have this issue where I have to read series in order and the rest are in the middle of a series.

message 19: by Shilah (new)

Shilah What do peeps want to do?

message 20: by Ethan (new)

Ethan Miller | 11 comments Okay, here's some more:
The Cuckoo's Calling- Robert Galbraith (JK Rowling)
The Woods- Harlan Coben
The Blind Assassin- Margaret Atwood
More Than This- Patrick Ness

I tried to come up with some differing plots

message 21: by Kimm (new)

Kimm (kimmumm) Those all sound fine as well.

message 22: by Shilah (new)

Shilah two lists, now what?

message 23: by Kimm (new)

Kimm (kimmumm) We can just read them all. We just have to figure out which to start with.

message 24: by Ethan (new)

Ethan Miller | 11 comments Well which one personally do you guys want to read first?

message 25: by Kimm (new)

Kimm (kimmumm) I think of I had to pick I would start with the last victim.

message 26: by Shilah (new)

Shilah Same, it sounds really good

message 27: by Kimm (new)

Kimm (kimmumm) Yeah and there's already a sequel

message 28: by Ethan (new)

Ethan Miller | 11 comments That's fine by me. I'd just like to see other people's opinions.

message 29: by Shilah (new)
