How liberal are we allowed to be in our interpretation of "something that can be eaten (by humans)"?
Setalpgninnpsekil wrote: "How liberal are we allowed to be in our interpretation of "something that can be eaten (by humans)"?"Depends on what you have in mind. Can you be more specific?
Can it be a critter (like a bird or a goat) that is still alive? Or does the animal need to be eating-ready (as in, already dead)?
Megan wrote: "Can it be a critter (like a bird or a goat) that is still alive? Or does the animal need to be eating-ready (as in, already dead)?"No, it doesn't have to be dead in the picture on the cover. We'll just assume someone would deal with it humanely before eating it...... ;-)

Will do thanks.
Would this work? It has coffee cups and Chinese takeout boxes. I am assuming there's food in them, but the lids are closed.

"No, sorry. Food (or condiments, candy, fruits, veggies, etc) must appear on the cover.

won't work. However, honey works and so does a fortune cookie, so either
or
WILL work.

Since people eat Rabbit (;"Yes, some people eat rabbit. That works. ;-)
Having watched both Duck Dynasty and Heston Blumenthal's cooking shows, humans aren't always that fussy about food so this task is pretty wide open:).Centipede Crunch anyone?.
Nicole wrote: "What about this? It has chocolate- not sure if it needed to be more "formed" to count?
Thanks!"
Chocolate is chocolate I don't care what form it's in. LOL That works!
I hope, if anything, this question provokes a chuckle:Would a fly be considered something a human would eat, since there are cultures who do eat insects....this question is prompted by
, which has a solitary fly on the cover. :p

Insects work! According to the National Geographic:"Flies that develop on various types of cheese take on the flavor of their host, and the species from water habitats may taste like duck or fish. Who knew?? ;-)

Do apple cores work? I know most of the apple is eaten but there's still a couple bites left, I think!
Cait wrote: "Do apple cores work? I know most of the apple is eaten but there's still a couple bites left, I think!
"Looks like there's still some apple meat on there, to me. ;-) Yes, it works.

Bellagbear wrote: "is this obvious enough?
(the choclate bar above the title)"Yes, that works. Please point out the candy bar when you claim the book for points, though. It's easy to miss!
