Hi, my author profile has been changed by GR but I no longer write under this name nor is it in legal use since my divorce and the books published under this name are no longer available and have since been republished as new editions under my current name Shona Clingham. Please can you help to combine all editions and show the most recent editions by default under my current name, and adjust the edits made to my author profile to reflect my current name and situation please?
Many thanks
Shona

Scott | 13494 comments The original published name will remain as primary. If you are the primary author you can set the default; otherwise ask support to do it for you.

The book titles have also been set in accordance with site policy; do not change them again.

Shona Clingham (shonaclingham) | 11 comments I am the primary and ONLY author of these books and I am seeking support to have it done.

As explained in Msg 2, Goodreads policy is that titles are shown with the original publication author as primary. When a book is republished under a different name, that name is shown in the secondary position.

To set an edition as the default edition — that is, the one that comes up in searches by title and shows on your author profile — follow these instructions.

Goodreads librarians are volunteers who work on the catalog database. If you have concerns about this or other site policy, contact Support Staff, Goodreads employees who are there to help.
