Stephanie | 364 comments Teammates:
Richard
Maddielucy(patti)
Angelinabvby
Marie-anne
Stephanie

Team Spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...

Completion points per monster by Wheel:
◈ Greek, Asian, Urban Legends and Fictional Humans – 20 points per monster
◈ Dr. Who, Vegi-might, Discworld and Holiday – 30 points per monster
◈ Bad Romance, Overly Specific and World Villains -40 points per monster

Reminder: Books can be used to complete more than one task, but only for the same monster. If you can find a single book that meets all five tasks, congratulations, you defeated the monster with just one book.

Stephanie | 364 comments Glad we got this team up and running. Hello everyone! Hope you are just as excited as me. First order of business is that we need to figure out a name lets discuss ideas.

Richard (richoman25) | 256 comments Hi team. Checking in & clicking the Notify thingy.

As for team names, I like puns. Here's some I've come up with:

Blood Bath & Beyond
Readers of the Lost Arc
The Read Dead Redemption
The Walking Read
Readpool
Night of the Living Bookworms
Texas Chainsaw Marginalia
Foreshadowed Survivors
Absolutely Not the Protagonists

🤣

message 4: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie | 364 comments I love all of those, but my two favorites for this challenge are Foreshadowed Survivors or Absolutely Not the Protagonists.

Once your team settles on a name, I'll get your spreadsheet set up so then you can get your spins and start planning.

I'm watching the threads, so just change your thread name once you decide :)

message 9: by Stephanie (last edited Jan 14, 2026 04:30PM) (new)

Stephanie | 364 comments We need to decide what is our wheels we want. Since we can have five spin we each can choose a wheel to spin from dulplicates from the same wheel would be nice but not needy. I would like to do holiday monster

Maddielucy(Patti) | 365 comments I’ll pick Fictional Humans

message 11: by Marie-Anne (new)

Marie-Anne | 264 comments We can do 1 spins from 5 different monster categories, or 2 or more for up to 5 spins from multiple lists.

My suggestions:
- Greek Monsters - this is the only lists that includes books between 300 and 349 pages.
- Urban Legends
- Fictional Human Monsters
- Dr. Who

Maddielucy(Patti) | 365 comments I’m good with whatever you guys decide!

Here's your team spreadsheet:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...

Request access through the spreadsheet and you'll get editing rights. Also once one of your teammates gets access they can grant access by adding emails if you are comfortable sharing them over PM until that feature disappears.

Happy Hunting!

angelinabvby ۶۟ৎ (angelinabvby) | 125 comments do we choose which tasks to read for?

message 20: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie | 364 comments Each book only goes to one monster but they can take as many tasks as can fit. So each monster can be one book up to five books for the different tasks.

angelinabvby ۶۟ৎ (angelinabvby) | 125 comments ok if i take these tasks?

message 22: by Richard (last edited Jan 15, 2026 08:07PM) (new)

Richard (richoman25) | 256 comments angelinabvby ۶۟ৎ wrote: "ok if i take these tasks?"

I have 1 book that can cover:

- 200 to 299 pages
- Text - "mannequin"
- Title starts with a letter in ECCLESTON

All for the Dr Who monster.

message 23: by Richard (last edited Jan 15, 2026 08:12PM) (new)

Richard (richoman25) | 256 comments Do we want to say or claim what tasks we can do?

If we claim them on the spreadsheet, it'd be easier for all of us to see what tasks are available.

Also, if we read books that can claim 2+ tasks per monster, we'd be more effective in taking the monsters out.

Thoughts?

message 24: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie | 364 comments I agree let’s just do as much on the spreadsheet as possible
