Joseph Plummer | 4 comments I recently added information about the 2024 edition of "Dishonest Money: Financing the Road to Ruin."

I don't see any option on my author's dashboard to make the 2024 edition the "default" for this book. Any help appreciated.

Scott | 13881 comments You need to edit the book record. The option is there.

Joseph Plummer | 4 comments I don't see an intuitive way to do what I'm trying to do.

I DO see a bunch of entries (some duplicates, one with the wrong cover) that don't need to be listed, but I don't see any way to delete them.

Maybe I should start there: Is it possible to delete some of the records? There really only needs to be three versions: 2009 edition, 2011 and 2024.

Scott | 13881 comments Why did you create an alternate cover edition, and then not upload a new cover?

I have deleted another blank record.

If you need help setting the default edition, look in the Help section.

I thought I'd taken care of this months ago. Then, I came back recently and saw the old cover showing in my list of books (clearly, not the correct "default").

Thinking I must have been mistaken about "taking care of it months ago," I started the process over again.

When I entered the correct ISBN, (for the new 2024 edition) it gave me an error. So, turns out, I HAD already entered the new info months ago, it was just an issue of figuring out the "default" problem.

I'm guessing you've heard this once or twice: The navigation / functionality in the admin area could probably be optimized a bit.

Thanks for the delete...better than where I was a day ago. I'll cut my losses here.
