I am here too! How do you guys feel about Book Wyrms as our team name?

Still missing two...are we allowed to play still or...

While I have played some group challenges before, I have never done this one. I think the thread name change needs to be done by Char since she created it in the first place? Then we can request some spins and get some monsters, tasks, and start reading.

I'm Kate, I live in Toronto, Canada, and I am married with a ten year old daughter. I am an RN on an L&D unit and I work straight nights so my posting will be at all hours.

Hi - sorry y'all - I'm here!
Just getting caught up. We moved about 3 weeks ago and I've had the flu. Was getting better but I woke up with a chest cough yesterday morning so I've been trying to rest and get better. I have asthma so it really wipes me out.

I sent friend requests to everyone.

I saw about making a private group on the main thread... do we need to? Are we that competitive? lol - I'll do whatever the group wants.

I'm easy - always know I'll go with the group and don't wait for me to make any decisions. I enjoy all kinds of books but tend to gravitate toward romances, biographies, mysteries, a bit of science fiction. I'm good for almost anything.

I'd like to be competitive, but do we need a secret group?
If everyone wants one, I can create one

hi Kate - click on where it says "view only" and a box will pop up - just say you need access and the creator will grant it. You'll get a confirmation email at your gmail.

Okay, updated our SS with our spin results

From what I understand, each of us can read upto 5 books each, and all of us can read 10 additional books in all.
And, we have 5 open monsters, and each book can be used for more than 1 task for each monster. . (But, books can be repeated among 1 monster only)

So I'd suggest looking for books which fit atleast 2 or more tasks.. Would that work for us all?

Sorry, I don't know if this is a dumb question, but how can I tell how many times a book has been tagged? I'm considering reading The Prison Book Club for the prompt of "books about books". I can see that it is in that category and on a list of the same name, but I can't tell how many times it has been tagged. Am I missing something?

You'll have to click See More and See All ( or something along those lines ) and it'll lead you to a page that has the tags of the book.

I think I saw a detailed explanation somewhere, incase this isn't helpful, I can try to find that for you!

it was tagged 15 times. you click "more" and then "show all"

yes, we can finish the Jan ones and work on the feb ones, but the Jan ones will go under round two if they didn't get finished in Jan. That's my understanding.
