Regarding 1,7,11: These editions with 1964 date claim to be "Revised and enlarged of 1963 first edition". Are they not a different editions than ISBN 9780670001651?
1 and 11 say "revised and enlarged edition" but are using the cover art from and a photo of the original edition that was published before the revised edition, so I was going off of the included images. 7 doesn't have an image, but it's labeled as a hardcover and the revised/expanded edition is a paperback. If you'd rather merge them with the first Revised/Expanded edition, it's available here (albeit without an ISBN or a note in the Editions field saying that it's revised and expanded): https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
1,7,11: Done. Thanks for the clarification. I'll go by the cover as you originally suggested.2. The covers are not the same
3, 6. Done
4. I want to be sure I'm getting this right. I see a cover change made by support, which I can't undo, nor can I see what it was before. Are you saying the the cover used before the change was the one from https://www.penguin.co.uk/books/62456... ? If so, how do you suggest I fix it? As I said, I cannot change the cover art.
5. Done (merged with default)
8. Done
9. I think the correct action here is to ask support to move the ISBN from the Kindle to the ebook.
10. Done
Thanks for catching that on #2. I meant to put in that it's a duplicate of 9788483460665, but now that I look closer 9788483460665 is also slightly different. Best to leave #2 alone for now I guess.
4. What happened was:- ISBN-13 9780141931593/ISBN-10 0141931590 was originally the UK ebook edition, but when the bot freaked out and deleted tens of thousands of ebook editions en masse back in 2024, it was incorrectly merged with the UK Kindle edition (ASIN B002RI97KC)
- The other day, I ask Staff to remove the UK ebook ISBNs from the UK Kindle and use them to create a new ebook edition using the ISBNs and the information available on UK publisher site, which I included in my message.
- Instead of using all of the information provided, they created an edition that is incorrectly using the US cover art and didn't even bother to put the ISBNs in. Thanks for that, Staff.
- As such, I was requesting https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6..., a duplicate of the UK ebook with the correct cover art, to be merged with https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6..., the UK ebook (it has the correct ISBN-10 in the ASIN field, as per policy) but with incorrect cover art and missing ISBNs, while preserving the duplicate's cover art since it's the correct one (as seen on the Penguin UK website).
If you're unable to change the cover art in the merge process, I'll let staff know that it's a problem they need to fix (as well as asking to separate the ISBN for the Italian ebook, if I'm able to easily find its information online).
Are you able to put the ISBN-10 and -13 in on https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...?
Superlibrarians cannot move ISBNs.I see the the book with ISBN 9780141931593 has the wrong cover, which was set by staff. Superlibrarians cannot change covers set by staff.
I think that requesting a merge is mudding the water. I suggest you ask support to correct the cover on the book with ISBN 9780141931593 using the cover on the publisher's website. Hopefully they don't botch this up further.
Once they do that, we can merge any duplicates.
12-13. The requirement to move the ISBN to the newer edition holds only for new ACEs created after the policy change. I marked both of these as ACEs.All the rest are done.

1. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... – Duplicate of ISBN 9780670001651
2. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... – Duplicate of ISBN 9788426413451
3. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5... – Duplicate of https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...
4. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6... – Duplicate of https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6..., believe it or not. I requested Goodreads Staff remove the UK ebook ISBNs from the UK Kindle and properly create the UK ebook edition, but instead of reading any of the information I provided to make sure it had all the correct data, they completely ignored it and couldn’t even be bothered to give it the right country’s cover art or even the full ISBN. After the merge is done, if you don’t mind cleaning up after staff, the publisher page is here: https://www.penguin.co.uk/books/62456...
If you don’t want to clean up after Staff, that’s totally understandable and I’ll include this one in the cleanup thread I make after the merges here are done.
