This question is for the authors in our group. Have any of you tried Pubby for book reviews? Here is what comes up when you search "Pubby."

Pubby is a subscription-based online service for self-published authors to get Amazon reviews by participating in a review-swap community, using a credit system called "snaps" earned by reviewing other authors' books to then request reviews for their own. It offers a way to gain visibility and credibility quickly, though some users note the reviews can sometimes be generic due to the rapid review cycle, but it's generally seen as an affordable alternative to buying reviews directly, with authors trading reviews within a motivated group.

It sounds good, but I would like to hear from someone who has tried it before jumping in.

You can find the site here: https://pubby.co/

Kristine Brown | 19 comments Hey James, I have not explored Pubby, but thanks for the tip. I did sign up for a free trial of Christian Authors Unite, but deleted my account after one day because I was so confused:) I’m a rule follower, and trying to remember all the rules overwhelmed my brain. Is it a similar concept?

Pubby looks interesting. I’ll be curious to see how it goes!

Heather Hancock (heather_hancock) | 15 comments I haven’t heard of this site. I will follow with interest, though I admit to having become quite cynical.

Chuck | 7 comments I looked at the site, but I wonder if it would work well for non-fiction authors. If anyone joins, please tell us about your experience. I can't afford it right now, but maybe after I get my tax refund.
