I’m trying to get back into reading, but my attention span is… struggling 😭

I’m looking for books that are genuinely hard to put down — romance, drama, messy plots, emotional chaos, all of it.

What are your must-read recommendations that pulled you out of a reading slump?

Hades Hangmen series by Tillie Cole. Motorcycle Club, dark romance and good suspense.

I would suggest the mortal instrument series by Cassandra Clare,
City of bones
City of ash
City of glass

And so on


It has 6 books in the series and it is a romantasy and one of my favourite series of all time

A Gap In The Sky might keep you going if you like both books that read like a cinematic road adventure, with immersive plot and humour and yet also have psychological depth, characters facing difficult choices (or running away from such). It has a very immersive plot and beautifully written prose.

This maybe sound stupid.. but if you REALLY want to get into reading again so pricess of ash series. ITS VERY GOOD. :)

It doesent really have much romance in it but it has amazing twists and youre glued into it for days.

I had the same issue as you but got back into reading because of The Housemaid by Freida McFadden. Short chapters, fast pace. I read it in 1 day and loveddd the feeling of finishing a book. Plot was also good!
