Hi guys, my name is Bhuvana Sayyaparaju, and I'm a senior in high school. I'm conducting a research project on how the rise of book communities on social media has affected reading culture among the modern generation of readers, and how this reading culture can be improved. I want to use social media to help young adults, especially high schoolers, feel more comfortable reading for pleasure, rather than just fulfilling their academic requirements. I will be able to do this through the data I get from my research study.
For my research study, I'm conducting a survey, for which I need participants who are between 18ando 25, and who read 3+ books yearly. The survey will ask questions about your social media habits, reading habits, and some general demographic questions, such as age and gender. It will not ask for your name or any personal information, such as addresses or email. The information from this survey will be completely anonymous, and if you would like to see the results of the research, I would be happy to send back my finished research paper, which will be finished sometime in April or May.
