Verity question

absolutely amazing. the plot twists r stunning they had me squealing!!

It gives a weird feeling after reading.like what did I just read?
But it's a gripping story and not predictable.

Reading Verity was very intriguing, Hoover describes Lowen as a desperate author and finds good luck in meeting Jeremy and finishing Verity's manuscript, the secrets she found in them were very shocking and got me on the edge of my seat but the problem was not it was erotic, it was how it was all over the book CONSTANTLY which I found very distracting. If the description of these sexual scenes were decreased a little bit and not so explicit, it would intensify the suspense and keep my on the tip of my seat.

Overall, the book was very thrilling and the ending was very unsettling and interesting.

I will be watching the movie before reading this

I don’t usually read romance-themed books, so I was never going to read Verity as its written by Collen Hoover. But damn, look at the odds — I picked it up almost randomly, and it became one of the best thrillers I’ve read so far

This book got me back into reading. I finished this in less than a week i have never read a book that quickly before. Absolutely loved it.

I thought when it started I was not going to like it at all...I was wrong, great read!

This is easily one of the weakest reads I’ve come across—not simply because I’m not a fan of Colleen Hoover, but because the novel relies heavily on poorly executed shock value. The narrative prioritizes corny "sensational" over l moments over coherent development, resulting in a story that feels disjointed and emotionally unearned. There wasn't any depth or substance ( which seems to be Hoover's theme), it leans on abrupt, exaggerated events that fail to meaningfully contribute to the plot or characters. In that sense, it stands out as her most poorly constructed work.

I liked it well enough, but wonder if it's popularity has to do with the over exaggerated sex scenes.

Definitely did not live up the hype. I was not in love with this book. It was very mediocre and didn't feel fully developed.

I don't get why Verity never addressed anything with Lowen and just wrote a secret letter explaining her whole villain twist. I would have enjoyed the story a lot more if Jeremy was the one that wrote the manuscript.

it was my 1st of collen hoover and i liked while reding it and the suspense was really good but brutally failed to excute

I’ll start by saying I have never in my life enjoyed reading. This past summer we went on a long trip and I asked a friend to borrow a book to read. Needless to say I never opened it on the trip, but when we returned home I decided to give it a shot and am so glad I did. This very book was the reason for me becoming a reader! I loved everything about it and I wanted more after I finished it. More that were just like it, which I found, and read and loved those too. I’ve since expanded my genre interest and I’m completely obsessed with reading, and I give Verity all the credit!

I thought this one was absolutely amazing as a thriller! I would love if they made a movie out of it. It is dark, but she held nothing back in this one! Definitely sucks you in.

I loved it! It was super thrilling and traumatizing in the best way a book like this can be. The ending is left open, but I felt it fits really well into the story and either explanation makes sense on its own so there is not a right or wrong answer. I have seen many people say the bonus chapter ruined the book for them, but I loved it. It was a deep and thought-provoking story overall and super tense.
