Mock Newbery 2026 discussion

For our last poll of the month I would like to take suggestions. If you have a favorite pick for the Newbery please add it to this thread. We will vote, on November 23rd - November 30, for the book we will read in December.

I'm happy Where the Mountain Meets the Moon has been added (one of my favorites), but I'd also like to suggest Charles and Emma: The Darwins' Leap of Faith by Deborah Heiligman. It is nonfiction, but is of such superior quality and fascinating subject, that I think it is a serious contender.
