Carlee Jane (chycebelle) Anyone discovered new artists, through however? Please share! I know I love getting reccomendations! So please comment (esp. since this group has been uber quiet and we need some new spark!)

I haven't found any new artists lately... partly because I'm not looking. Hehe. I don't like most of the new stuff; it's either crap/rap (as they say, the 'c' in rap is silent) or really dumb, cheesy songs about how someone can't live without you. I'm sure there are some great new bands out there, though.

Meese is amazing. As is Robert Francis.

iTunes Single of the Week is a great way to find new artists.

Carlee Jane (chycebelle) I just discovered my friend's brothers' band, Les Sages (pronounced 'lay-saj' like Taj Mahal). They are giving a free album download of their latest album, Share This! on www.lessages.com, so you should check 'em out. Thanks! :)

P.S. I love Action and Driver of the Hearse (the latter is about Pres. Hinckley!!)
P.P.S. When you play them on your iPod Touch, you can look at the lyrics while you listen--it's sweet!!

Driver of the Hearse is about President Hinckley! WHOA! Is that about the joke where President Hinckley drives the hearse and gets pulled over?

No, I don't think so. If you listen to the lyrics, it talks about Pres. Hinckley's life and.. well, you just have to listen to the lyrics.

Sorry. Haha. That's a really odd coincidence, because there's this joke one of my also-LDS friends told me that has to do with President Hinckley driving a hearse. But aww, that's a sweet song idea! Go Les Sages!

Anony-miss a-non-y-miss | 14 comments I'm trying to find several bands. As many know, I am a music freak (as I like to call it, a name for someone who obsesses over the whole idea of music). As a lover for over 375 + bands, I still try to explore my taste.

I especially love Finnish Punk/Gothic/metal. Though, it's all starting to sound the same. I could never dream of getting sick of it . . yikes!

If anyone knows a band I'd like, I'm open :) ((Note: Starting to get into Italian metal and Japanese visual kei)

YET, if anyone is curious about me and my musical tastes, let me know. I'm always willing to give out recommendations. ;)

I've heard of this Asian band called S.H.E. At least I think that's what they're called...I'm pretty sure they have some YouTube vids.
