A few weeks ago, I read that Amazon has parted ways with the US post office. USPS won't be handling their deliveries anymore. Then I heard there was a split with UPS. Then I read today that Amazon laid off 16,000 people.
So I wonder if they are going total AI/automated, everything's packaged, shipped, delivered by self driving vehicles and teeny little robots.

They want humans as customers (who else do they have?), but maybe less so - as employees)
