Its a pretty quick read - I really liked it.
The Apple TV adaptation of it is pretty good too.

I started the audio.. i am unsure how i feel with the constant tune on a loop playing in the entire background
I’m reading this book for the first time, and it’s been really fun so far. The way the author presents Murderbot as part human and part machine makes the story even more engaging. I’ve only read a few pages, but I’m already curious about what’s going to happen next.
Thoroughly enjoying this so far. Reading as ebook. It really just drops you into the plot quickly. Murderbot is kinda quirky and fun."As a heartless killing machine, I was a terrible failure."
It took me awhile to get into the book. However, once the narrative picked up, I became much more engaged and enjoyed the story.Murderbot’s dry humor really stood out to me. That “I would like to be watching media instead of dealing with humans” line is iconic.
i got started today. and came here to talk about the two quotes that have been mentioned. the fun line that Pat of Rocks mentioned, "As a heartless killing machine, i was a terrible failure." And Dawn's about media and humans. I am really enjoying the book. Fun one to start reading in a plane experiencing turbulence. hehehe
