Hard to believe it’s already February!

I know you read this past month. What I want to know is: what was the absolute best thing you read?

message 3: by Julie (new)

Julie Grindal (julesgrin) | 203 comments January best book was Slewfoot: A Tale of bewitched by Brom.

Vickie (bookfan4ever) | 122 comments Slewfoot is my favorite Brom! Glad you liked it, Julie.

For my January, it would have to be Tess of the D’Urbervilles.

Michael J. (michaeljclarke) | 185 comments I actually read several works that I rated FIVE STARS during January.

Tough decision, but I'm going with THE LATHE OF HEAVEN by Ursula LeGuin.

Cicero (goodreadscomcjrayl) | 13 comments I kept mulling this over and have to choose, The Ferryman and His Wife by Frode Grytten.

That is such a powerful novel, even more so than the movie (American version).

Stephen (stoyle64) | 3 comments For me, January's best was Denali's Howl: The Deadliest Climbing Disaster on America's Wildest Peak. I am a sucker for a good adventuring story, even one gone horribly wrong.
