The narrative follows a girl (with the classic mommy and daddy issues) named Evangeline who grows up under her father’s harsh and cruel rule. Haunted by the loss of her sister, and determined to break free, she flees the palace and joins Connor and Averly on a dangerous journey back to the capital. There, she hides her identity while plotting to confront her tyrannical father and uncover the dark forces controlling the kingdom.
