Cynthia | 805 comments My hold on this book became available much earlier than I anticipated, so I finished it already for the Winter Olympics challenge lol. I enjoyed it much more than I expected :)

I have only read a few of Shakespeare's plays, so this book wasn't really on my radar. I'm glad I decided to give it a chance, and I hope to read Hamlet soon too.

I'm looking forward to hearing what everyone else thinks! :)

Megan | 489 comments My mom LOVED this book, so it's been on my TBR for a while. lol My copy hasn't come in yet, but I'm looking forward to reading it. As a lit major who loved Shakespeare, I'm looking forward to the author's take on things.

Taz | 162 comments I plan on reading this alongside Hamlet soon. Hopefully, reading them alongside each other will give me more insight on the story. I have always found Shakespearean language difficult to comprehend.

Short version: I have had two cousins decide "...not to be." I read works like this to help me understand their mentality.

Time to join my Libby waitlist.

Zeljka | 584 comments I'm half way through, and so far I find the stories from the past much more interesting than the "present" story.

message 10: by Brenda (new)

Brenda Mayne | 5 comments Finally got this from my library holds and finished. I’ve read several Shakespeare plays over the years and this book could stand on its own as just a story about a mother. I’m glad I read it, not a stand out read though. I gave it three stars.
