February is the shortest month. Let’s do short stories, classics obviously, but any genre you want to read. For this challenge, I suggest we read stories that have 250 pages or less. Enjoy!

Edith Wharton:
🌷The Dilettante - only a short story but I struggled to finish it. I didn’t like it at all.
🌷The Reckoning - this became more interesting & I liked the way the story developed to its conclusion.
🌷Expiation - a clever idea but I didn’t enjoy reading this.
🌷Xingu - the best of the Edith Wharton short stories in this list.

H G Wells:
🌷The Door in the Wall - excellent story with beautiful descriptions.

Wilkie Collins:
🌷The Frozen Deep - excellent

Tr1sha | 370 comments What a great selection, Kathy. I don’t think I’ve read any of those stories so my list may get longer…
