I'll start the ball rolling, I'm Jeanne, better known on tarvalon, net as Xaviara al'Nady, Aes Sedai of the White Ajah. I'm a huge fan of Science Fiction, Fantasy and romance (especially vampire romances ;-) ).

I'm a single parent of a college-aged son and currently live in NY but maybe not for long!

Looking forward to finding out about what books everyone else is reading so I can add more titles to my "to read" list!

Heather (heather_findlay) | 1 comments I'm Rehtaeh also know IRL as Heather and on Terre d'Ange as Caprice :D

I am married and have a 10-year old stepson. I am a Social Work Assistant Director by day and a Community College Psychology Instructor by night, so I'm busy almost all the time.

I love to hike, travel, read and sing loudly and badly (well, I'd like to sing well, but unfortunately that is not a gift of mine) :lol

My favorite reads are Sci-Fi, Sci-Fi, Sci-Fi, a dash of Fantasy and an occasional foray into the Classics.

I'm enjoying snooping into everyone's "to read" lists!

Hillary (hillaryv) | 2 comments Konnichiwa!

I'm Hillary, or Kiana at Tar Valon. I'm married to James, have been for almost 6 years now (next month in May!), no kids, two cats, and living overseas in Sasebo, Japan due to my husband's job with the US Navy.

I work at the Fleet and Family Support Center on base as the clinical education services facilitator and Ombudsman coordinator. All that really means is that I build programs, teach/facilitate (dependent upon the program), market, and provide quality assurance for all clinical programs and materials. I specialize in two major fields: lifeskills education (stress/anger management, goal-setting, team-building, suicide prevention, etc.) and the Navy's Ombudsman program. It's a fun job, but I'm always busy!

We love karaoke, and Japan is the perfect place for it! The new cho I just moved into actually has a karaoke bar at the end of the driveway, so we can go as often as our hearts desire (and right across from it is a Hokka Hokka Tei for fast food and a chocolate truffle house). We love to travel, we hike, we play games (board, card, video--you name it), and a little of everything else!

Fun stuff!

Jess (lieutfaber) | 2 comments I'm Jessica IRL, Chria at Tar Valon, and a runaway Celsie at Terre d'Ange... My cat lives with my parents, but I've got my ferret Annie to keep me company. No SO, no kids, nothing.

I work in computer retail as a lead cashier for a well-known computer company. Being subtle, see?

Mostly, I read fantasy, and lots of it. But very slowly. Knitting seems to take up much of the time I used to spend reading.

Just don't call me Madame Defarge. :|

Sheryl Pohl (blackcelticrose) | 2 comments I am Antarai, or Sherry. I am a stay at home Mom and a book addict. If I don't have a book on hand I am really bored.

I read fantasy/sci fi right now, but will pretty much read anything if it suits my fancy.

Caitrin (literarydependent) | 2 comments Hey everyone! Tis Liathiana here (or Celecia if you're at TDA)

I usually only read fantasy but I've been known to branch out with certain authors in other genre's.

Clint (uncleclinto) | 1 comments Hey all,

I'm Clint. My profile covers all the bio junk. I'm currently pretty excited about the prospect of a posthumous book 12. I've been a big Mat Cauthon fan from the beginning, and I've been jonesing for a showdown with the Aelfinn and Eeilfinn, creepy buggers!

Glad to meet y'all.

Welcome Clint! I'm also a Mat fan. He's just such a lovable guy! And the whole thing with Tuon is a match made in writer's heaven. I hope we aren't all left hanging on that story line. I fear we're going to be left so on some as there are just too many, IMHO, to wrap them all up.

Andrea (ariescapes) | 1 comments Arie Tarou here. :) Good to know there are a few others on here. :)

message 11: by Lara (new)

Lara (LaraSue) | 1 comments Hello! I am Lara and I don't have another name. However, my name is close to Laras, the mistress of the kitchens, so my name is close enough to the WOT universe that I don't need one! I like Perrin, although he came down with some tunnel vision there in the last book. But still, the guy loves his wife...
