I will be reading Christmas Carol in Decemeber for the Victorian reading group and might doing Our Mutural Friend in January, so I would be up for Dikens in the winter. I always been meaning to read his works, but never could motivate myself to get around to doing so.
I'm in too. But I hope we can read Dickens for three months and not just in December - I have a lot of Dickens I would like to read!

Sounds like a good plan....
oh my.... I voted for Tale of Two Cities not realizing everyones dislike for it. Now I don't know whether I want to bother reading it or read it just to see if it realy is that bad... Not that I am discounting all your opinions on it.
I voted for A Tale of Two Cities because I've always wanted to read it. I've only ever read Great Exectations and Hard Times by Dickens.
It looks like the winners were A Tale of Two Cities, Great Expectations, and A Christmas Carol.I think we should read A Christmas Carol in Dec, then perhaps A Tale of Two Cities for Jan and Great Expectations for Feb. Sound ok everyone?

Is anyone interested in doing this for the winter months?
I suggest having an E. B. White Winter.
Any other suggestions?
