If you have a good question for the Question of the Week, let us know!

Theresa | 2482 comments What a great idea to set up a discussion thread for this!

Nadine - you are a member of the GR group PBT, right? You should check out the Sunday Conversation Thread - some of the topics have been fun but also serious and most trigger some great posts and discussion.

If you aren't, I can bring over here some of the ones I've enjoyed.

We can think Jennifer for the good idea!!

I am, but I only go there a few times a year. There's only so much I can keep up with on GR! I've probably "stolen" a few of their discussion ideas over time, but if there are any particularly good ones, let me know and I'll add them to my list.

message 6: by Theresa (new)

Theresa | 2482 comments Thank you, Jennifer, for this!

@Nadine - I hear you on GR!
The Sunday Conversation topics from 2/1 and 2/8 have been good, especially 2/1, for discussion.

Also, ATY has a similar thread, and Robin who admins that thread is a friend and is cleverand on PBT. Another source to check occasionally.

Too bad my own brain is totally out of ideas for questions! lol, go figure.

Jennifer W | 1967 comments What was the last bookish thing you treated yourself to? Could be you bought a book when usually you use the library, went to an author talk, donated to a reading related cause, got new bookcases, etc...

Sasha Wolf (sashajwolf) | 338 comments Which of the reading personality types in this Goodreads list (if any) do you think you are? Does your choice match your type according to the "cluster" method they suggest in the introduction? In either case, did you add anything new to your TBR as a result of seeing this list?

K.L. Middleton (theunapologeticbookworm) | 912 comments What are your thoughts about special edition copies of books (books with sprayed/stenciled edges, special end papers, illustrated copies, etc.)? Do you find yourself picking up new copies of books that you already own because they are "prettier" than your original copy? Have you ever bought a book you were only mildly interested in because it was a special edition?

What is the strangest item you've used to mark your place in a book?

Are there any books or series that you own multiple copies of? If so, why?

Have you ever backed an author's Kickstarter campaign for the chance to receive limited edition merchandise? If so, who was the author and why did you back their project? If not, what would an author have to offer to get you interested in backing their project?

Sasha Wolf (sashajwolf) | 338 comments Goodreads is introducing an official DNF shelf. Probably most of us already had a custom one, but do you have other custom exclusive shelves?
