This was getting played elsewhere, so here's my list. I am not doing authors, but here's the books so far.

Yes, I know, this is SO many books to have read in 6 weeks, but I am always a really fast reader in Jan and Feb, and when the weather gets nice, I usually slow down. Usually. Also, one, Low Elf Esteem, was probably novelette length, and three were Heinlein juveniles, being read with this group, and they are really quick.

LATER NOTE:

I was confusing myself with having two long lists of books in this thread. So I just erased the list here. Please see message 2 below for my progress

well, since it seems to be only me, here's where I am now. I guess I might be about done. All I need are K, Q, V, X, Y, and Z. If I manage to read King's Dragon, that would help, but I am not reading it just to get a "K" book!

A – The Android's Dream
B – Between Planets
C – Charming (Pax Arcana 1)
D – Daring (Pax Arcana 2)
E – The Everlasting
F – Framed in Death
G – Grace & Henry's Holiday Movie Marathon
H – Helliconia Spring
I – The Incandescent
J – The Jennifer Morgue (Laundry Files, #2)
K – King's Dragon
L – Low Elf Esteem (Pax Arcana 0.8)
M – The Moonspinners
N – Naked in Death
O – Of Monsters and Mainframes
P – Play Nice
Q –
R – The Rolling Stones
S – The Star Beast
T – The Thief Who Spat In Luck's Good Eye
U – The Unbroken
V –
W – The Will of the Many
X –
Y –
Z –

Kewl! Maybe I will put in authors at the end of the year.

Stephen Burridge | 1288 comments I’ve completed 17 books with 11 different title initial letters so far. I think I’ll just see what happens. Last year I think I ended up with 4 or 5 letters unrepresented.

I added King's Dragon as my "K" entry, but now I all I have left is Q V X Y Z. Wish me luck with those!

Stephen Burridge | 1288 comments Good Luck. X may be the most difficult.

Yes, X is the most difficult. I have read some BAD X books and do not intend to even try to read an X book if I cannot find one that is highly rated and looks good to me. And I am not searching for one, either.

If anyone has a suggestion, let me know. But not X-Men, please. I have lost the knack of reading comics, even though I love superhero movies

Stephen Burridge | 1288 comments I don’t know if you like Sue Grafton’s Kinsey Milhone mysteries. One of them is called X. And there’s an Andre Norton called The X Factor.

Thanks for the suggestion of the books, Stephen, but X is #24 in a series-one I always meant to read, but not starting there. I might try The X factor, though--thanks!

Stephen Burridge | 1288 comments I’m not a huge Norton fan but I thought The X Factor was decent, for what it’s worth.
